This is a visualization of the speaking roles in the Digby Mary Magdalene, split up by the location where the speech occurs (see my forthcoming article in Theatre Notebook for an explanation of why these locations must exist in the performance space). The shaded background indicates what portion of the Magdalene's life -- the vita evangelica, the vita apostolica, or the vita eremetica -- the lines are being spoken within, while the unshaded background is the explication by the priest at the end of the play. The vertical lines indicate a line which has a stage direction afterward in the manuscript.
